We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when using our platform, including but not limited to:
- Name, email address, and phone number when submitting quote requests
- Property location and province for installer matching
- Electricity usage information for system recommendations
- Account credentials if you register as an installer or user
- Usage data and cookies collected automatically when you browse our site

We use the information we collect to:

When you submit a quote request, your contact details and project information are shared with the solar installers you are matched with. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. 9. Roof Check
When you use our roof check, the address you type is sent to Google so that it can suggest and locate it. Your roof's map location is then sent to Google (Solar API, on servers outside South Africa) and to the European Commission's PVGIS service (in the European Union) to look up solar data.
We keep a cached copy of the roof data against the rounded location, for speed. It is refreshed at least weekly and never used once it is more than about a week old. We do not link it to your name or contact details, and nothing is stored against you unless you submit the quote form.
This is a cross-border transfer of information. By using the roof check you agree to it. Google handles the information under the Google Privacy Policy.
